Innominate taps Steffen Bruss as new head of OEM sales

Berlin, 17 May 2005 - As of May 1, 2005, Steffen Bruss is the new head of OEM sales for Innominate Security Technologies AG. Bruss, age 40, has many years of experience in the IT industry and broad OEM expertise. He is now responsible for further expanding Innominate's OEM business.
In addition to selling standard products via distributors and resellers, Innominate also has some top-name OEM customers, including Hirschmann Electronics. Hirschmann has integrated Innominate's mGuard technology into its own products. Innominate now wants to expand its OEM business and Steffen Bruss is the perfect man for the job. He has already been responsible for the acquisition of new markets in automation, broadcasting, telecommunications, and military technology, most recently as the Sales Manager Central and Eastern Europe at Avnet Applied Computing Solutions and, before that, as Vice President Marketing and International Sales at Powerbox.
After beginning his career in research and development at Deutsche Telekom, Bruss took on several challenging positions in sales at such companies as DeTeWe, Computer 2000, and Fiskars. He gathered more than a decade of international experience in IT security while working with OEM partners in Italy, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the US.
