Innominate announces Jan Johannsen as new head of indirect sales
Berlin, 4 October 2004- As of October 1, 2004, Jan Johannsen, age 39, is the new head of indirect sales for Innominate Security Technologies AG. In his new position, the sales veteran will primarily be responsible for further expanding the company's international channel sales business. Johannsen has many years of experience in the IT industry and brings broad sales expertise to the Berlin-based security specialist.
Innominate is already working with distributors and specialized dealers in Austria, Sweden, the UK, Australia, Thailand, and the USA. Now the company wants to further expand the sale of Innominate security products through its channel partners worldwide. And Jan Johannsen seems to be predestined for the job. He held a similar position at AVM, where he successfully expanded the company's sales partnerships and played a crucial role in the development of partner programs, marketing strategies, and management concepts. He also gathered considerable experience with system partners while working as a business consultant, particularly on projects for Compaq.
Johannsen's professional career began at Compaq. From there, he moved on to Dialog Data, Digital Equipment, and AVM. Before joining Innominate, he served as managing director and senior consultant at the business consulting firm Market Expert.
