First Hirschmann product with integrated Innominate mGuard to be unveiled at SPS/IPC/DRIVES 2003
Hirschmann and Innominate team up to provide state-of-the-art security for industrial communications
Nuremberg, 25 November 2003 - Hirschmann Electronics GmbH & CO. KG of Neckartenzlingen, Germany, and Berlin-based Innominate Security Technologies AG have forged a strategic partnership aimed at integrating Innominate mGuard, the miniature firewall and VPN appliance, into Hirschmann's range of industrial automation products. The first of Hirschmann's forthcoming EAGLE product line, the EAGLE 2TX, will be presented to industry professionals for the first time at the SPS/IPC/DRIVES 2003 in Nuremberg, Germany, November 25 - 27. Industrial customers visiting Innominate in Hall 6, booth 255, or Hirschmann in Hall 7A, booth 430, will have an opportunity to see up close a solution that covers nearly every aspect of communication security.
The development and sales partnership between the Berlin-based embedded security solutions specialist and Hirschmann Electronics' automation and network solutions division will benefit Hirschmann's customers most of all. They will receive all of the EAGLE products with state-of-the-art security features. The industrial firewall/VPN appliance ensures the authentication, security, protection and confidentiality of communications both within production networks and beyond company borders. EAGLE systems enable simple and secure access for remote maintenance of production facilities. They meet all relevant industry standards and are rail mountable.
