Innominate ready for international expansion with new CEO
Joachim Fietz accepts top job - Olaf Siemens becomes Chief Operating Officer

Berlin, 6 March 2006 - Berlin-based Innominate Security Technologies AG, which produces security appliances for use in industrial environments, has appointed Joachim Fietz (48) as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Executive Board, effective from 1 March 2006. In this new role, Joachim Fietz will further strengthen the company's growth as well as oversee the expansion of international business and penetration into new market segments. The previous CEO, Olaf Siemens, will change positions, becoming the new Chief Operating Officer (COO).
"Internationally, industrial security represents a very dynamic growth business and Innominate is without question the most important innovator in this market," says Joachim Fietz. "With the mGuard product line, we have a clear head start on other major names in the market for industrial security appliances. We plan to utilise this advantage for expansion into important markets, including the USA and the Asia-Pacific region. Innominate has proven competence and a comprehensive product range for safeguarding production systems and Ethernet devices."
Joachim Fietz can look back on a long and successful career working in international technology companies such as StorageTek, Sun Microsystems and Parametric Technology Corporation. Before coming to Innominate he held the position of General Manager for the data storage specialist StorageTek, in charge of the German business. |
