mGuard industrial firewall with new redundancy and QoS functions
Berlin, 22 February 2007 – Innominate, the industrial security specialist, will be at this year's Hannover Messe from 16 - 20 April 2007, together with industry consultant Langner Communications AG. They will present applications in the area of industrial security and secure remote maintenance and can be found at the Digital Factory in hall 17, stand B54.

PKI certificates for mGuard industrial firewalls
This means that VPN connections can now be established in a secure, reliable and scalable manner – one of the essential requirements for modern teleservice applications via the Internet. The use of electronic certificates enables an automated login without complex password management.
Increased control security of industrial firewalls via customer specific user groups
The installation of customer-specific user groups permits a user-friendly configuration of firewall and access rules. Moreover, the Innominate Device Manager automatically and punctually signals when a firmware update is necessary. Newly implemented Quality of Service functions in Innominate’s mGuard appliances support the prioritisation of data streams and network connections.
Redundancy function via modem interface
The new support of the "classical" modem interface enables redundant access to the mGuard appliance. In this way, even if an Internet connection isn't available, important production resources always remain accessible.
