Our Solution

With our mGuard technology, Innominate is providing a plug-n-protect solution for secure usage of Internet services and protection against unauthorized access which integrates transparently and without installation of additional software into your practice infrastructure and networked medical devices. The field-proven mGuard products are easily deployed in any environment, independent of operating systems, and do not require any configuration changes to the protected computers and their surrounding network.

Maximum security is achieved through a combination of firewall and virtual private network (VPN) technologies which is integral part of all mGuard devices. This enables the secure transmission of sensitive data, e.g., to the online services of SHI physicians’ associations, through encrypted VPN tunnels over the Internet. In addition, mGuard devices support an easy to use yet secure remote access to practice PCs from anywhere with preconfigured software on a simple USB stick and an arbitrary PC connected to the Internet. A further application area of mGuard products is the protection of networked medical devices against unauthorized access, manipulation, and malware by firewalls and reliable integrity monitoring.
